Africa/Electricity Consumption

Note: Per capita consumption in Least developed countries is under 130 kilowatt hours per capita per year (the equivalent of a 60-watt light bulb running for about 5 hours a day). Some 1.6 billion people, about one quarter of the world's population, have no access to electricity today (International Energy Agency, 2005)
